This National Guard position is for a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST-TITLE 5, Position Description Number T58019P1 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard. ***Effective start dates of selected candidate will be determined based on available authorizations and funding.***
Job Description
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the knowledge and experience of supply procedures/actions such as inventory of equipment, property accountability, maintaining records, item identification, authorizations, on-hand balances, property condition and location, ordering, reviewing and shipment of equipment, and/or ordering, receiving and shipping of equipment. -OR- Master's Degree or Equivalent Graduate Degree -OR- Two Full Years of Progressively Higher Level Graduate Education Leading to such degree -OR- LL.B or J.D, if related -OR- Combining Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Only education in excess of 1 full year of graduate level education may be used to qualify applicants for positions at this grade. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
