THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST, Position Description Number PDD1911P01 and is part of the KS Joint Forces Headquarters, National Guard.

Job Description

Military Grades: O1 through O4 Compatible Military Assignments: Immaterial Must be willing and able to cross train into the compatible MOS (90A) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Extensive travel is required to perform duties throughout the state. Proficient in logistics standard army management information system (STAMIS). PHYSICAL EFFORT: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Assignments regularly involve long periods of standing, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in storage, or comparable work area. WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical work is performed indoors or outdoors, in an environment involving everyday risks.
