Job Summary

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Information Technology Division (ITD), Customer Engagement Branch (CEB). The incumbent serves as the Information Technology (IT) Asset Manager and is responsible for leading the AOC enterprise-wide IT asset management program. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of IT assets, including planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, optimization and disposition.

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service Specialized experience is defined as having experience in all of the following: · Experience in enterprise asset management systems. · Experience in analyzing asset data and developing recommendations that improve asset utilization and reduce lifecycle costs. · Experience in providing guidance in implementing Information Technology (IT) security policies.
