You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: : 1) Developing and interpreting housing program policies and preparing work plans for housing operations and maintenance. 2) Overseeing housing assignments, inspections, contracted services, and major renovations for on-post and off-post units. 3) Communicating with military leadership, staff, landlords, and customers to resolve disputes and ensure compliance with housing regulations. 4) Analyzing and resolving complex housing issues, processing policy exceptions, and recommending improvements to housing programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Housing Management Program Administration Housing Operations Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
