Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent exercises full delegated authority in assisting the Provost Marshal in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating, providing guidance for, and/or evaluating all activities pertaining to law enforcement and physical security operations.

Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes performing duties that demonstrate knowledge of laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Performing specific duties such as directing elements of law enforcement operations; supervising and critiquing the training of law enforcement personnel; providing guidance based on a broad range of knowledge of law enforcement laws and regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
