Through IOD, CISA coordinates situational awareness and response to national cyber, communications, and physical incidents. You qualify at the GS-15 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level (or equivalent) performing all the following duties: Supervising assigned regional personnel, including first and second line supervisors; Providing leadership and strategic direction in the development and execution of policies and strategic program plans; Planning, and fully managing classified and unclassified outreach in response to cyber, physical and communications threats; AND Leading outreach and coordination efforts with strategic partners in the region. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
