Job Summary

This position is located in the Facilities, Acquisition & Logistics Services Division under the Security Integration & Technology Directorate of PFPA. As Lead Specialist, this position provides logistics management assistance by performing team lead activities, implementing policies, coordinating with stakeholders, making recommendations, resolving problems and conducting special projects.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled. Applicants for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience in 1) conducting research and analysis on cost effective procurement of items; 2) managing projects using telecommunication and facility management principles and concepts and; 3) developing budget estimates for facility and maintenance services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
