Job Summary

The Special Assistant to the Chief Nurse Officer supports the Chief Nurse Officer in compliance, administration, and strategic planning for ICE Health Service Corps. Duties include research, coordination, communication, and outreach. Requires nursing degree, PHS service, strong organizational skills, and ability to travel. This position is only open to current USPHS officers. USPHS Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates are not eligible for this position.

COMPETENCIES: The incumbent must maintain their clinical license, as applicable; it is the responsibility of the incumbent to fulfill the obligation(s) of their licensing or certifying body to maintain status. This position may be required to perform clinical activities within the scope of clinical license in times of critical needs within the agency.
