Job Summary
This position is with the Office of Information Technology (OIT), Division of Information Technology Operations (DITO). The purpose of this position is to function as an advisor to the Chief Information Officer and senior management officials as the DITO Director. The incumbent reports to the Deputy Chief Information Officer or designee.
Job Description

BASIC REQUIREMENTS Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-15: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Develop strategies to deliver enterprise-wide foundational information technology solutions that comply with security, privacy policies, and mandates. Manage, plan, implement, and administer a network, centralized messaging service, web presence and applications, telecommunications, video conferencing, data center management strategies and policies, telehealth, and Wide Area Network (WAN) services. Oversee annual budgetary expenditures of approximately $40 million. NOTE: You must meet all examples of specialized experience listed above. SELECTIVE FACTOR This position requires the following certifications: Current Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer's Representative, Level III (FAC-COR, Level III). Current Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Management, Senior Level (FAC-P/PM, SR Level). NOTE: Proof of certifications must be submitted with your application package.
