Job Description

Merit Promotion candidates (Federal employees) must meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify for this position, you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Applying Federal facilities regulations and GSA leasing processes to manage facilities programs, including leasing, space planning, physical security, and safety; Analyzing facility needs, including evaluating space utilization, forecasting future requirements, and assessing cost or operational impacts; Identifying facilities, leasing, safety, or security issues; and developing and implementing solutions to resolve operational, compliance, or service-delivery problems; AND Preparing reports, briefings, or recommendations for supervisor/senior leadership on facilities strategy, risks and investment decisions.
