Job Summary

This position is part of the International Boundary and Water Commission, US Section (USIBWC). The incumbent will be responsible for supply operation duties at the Amistad Power Plant, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Division, Operations Department. The field office's primary mission is to operate and maintain water conveyance and flood control structures as part of the USIBWC's core mission of meeting numerous treaty and domestic trans-boundary management obligations.

Job Description

At the GG-7 level, you must meet one of the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GG-06 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this role includes performing supply operations including requesting, processing, and distributing equipment; cataloging; inventory management; and storage functions; maintaining accounting and reporting systems, tracking critical or special-handling inventory, reviewing purchases, and investigating and reconciling discrepancies; preparing and processing requisitions; reviewing vehicle and equipment records to ensure scheduled service and maintenance; providing administrative support (for example: arranging travel, timekeeping, training), and using software for document processing, reporting, email, filing, and records management.
