About the Position: Serves as Financial Technician and performs analysis and evaluation of financial, budget and accounting and travel data pertaining to a diverse fund environment for a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB)

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Utilizing automated systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS) to initiate, and process travel authorizations and vouchers; 2) identifying and resolving issues regarding pay and/or financial concerns in accordance with federal regulations; 3) creating financial reports such as audits and budgets. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
