About the Position: Office located in a clinical area that is shared by other members of the Division; Position is not telework eligible; Work hours is 0600-1600. but will not exceed an 8 hour workday with core hours of 0700-1600. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) assisting with administrative policies, programs or operations related to health care delivery utilizing automated systems to enter and retrieve data; (2) extracting and analyzing data from a variety of medical information systems; (3) assisting with the preparation of various data reports, proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; (4) analytic skills and familiarization using analytical tools such as the Defense Health Agency healthcare metrics. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree a major in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
