Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative functions to a medical treatment facility or hospital, assisting physicians with minor procedures, performing basic patient care tasks such as measuring vital signs or obtaining general medical information; communicating with patients and clinicians about medical information; and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This specialized experience is equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and or Health Technician (HT)
