You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Skilled in the setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining diagnostic ultrasound and ancillary equipment; 2) knowledge of the concepts, practices, procedures, techniques, and equipment applied to medical ultrasound; 3) Assisting in performance of invasive procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, nephrostomes, amniocentesis, etc. and 4) Ability to read and explain sonograms Education: Successful completion of a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
