About the Position: Serves as the Assistant Director, Resource Operations, and Chief, Financial Operations Specialist with substantially delegated authority and responsibility for the full range of budgetary and financial management, manpower and personnel, administration and security, and safety operations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing an integrated financial plan for a medical organization; 2) Comparing budget and operational outcomes with planned objective to identify variances for analysis; 3) Applying accounting concepts to solve problems or render advice regarding healthcare operations; AND 4) Interpreting the impact of governing policy on financial allocations to healthcare objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
