Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes providing operational oversight and analysis for network-level medical communications and information operations; supporting medical operations centers and crisis response activities; evaluating healthcare operations to identify improvements; and managing or assigning organizational taskers for a multi-facility medical operation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-12). Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with medical communications and information operations; participating in medical operations centers or crisis response activities; compiling operational data to support the evaluation of healthcare operations; and tracking and distributing organizational taskers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement GS-13: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
