About the Position: This is an obligated position. Temporary Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Temporary Appointment NTE 1 Year. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three (3) years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes receiving 911 calls or other emergency calls to determine problems, dispatching to appropriate personnel and monitoring or responding to any of the following, fire, life, and safety alarms for medical facilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a Temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
