About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located in Manage Care at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Primary purpose of the position is to provides technical guidance on software capabilities and limitations related to enrollment, appointment scheduling, profiling, and template management for all outpatient clinical areas. To qualify for this position you must meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with improvements to scheduling functions, enrollments and templates regarding patient appointments; creating templates and schedules by identifying problems with health care processes and recommending improvements; and utilizing various automated healthcare databases to enter and retrieve data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
