Basic Requirements for Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist GS-1640-14: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: aiding in the development of facility maintenance programs, assisting in coordination of facility life-cycle management activities, recommending improvements to facility maintenance and operations, and assisting with administrative supervision. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Facilities Operations and Maintenance Facilities Procurement and Contract Management Facilities Requirements Analysis and Planning Performance Measurement Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
