Job Description
MILITARY GRADES: Enlisted: E1 - E7 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Enlisted: 92 Series SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-07: Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level which demonstrates knowledge of supply management principles, inventory control, property accountability, and automated supply systems. Specialized experience includes maintaining supply records; processing supply transactions; researching supply discrepancies; conducting inventories; assisting with property accountability and equipment management functions; preparing reports and correspondence; and providing customer support related to supply operations. Experience using computer-based supply systems and working with supply regulations, policies, or procedures is required. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-09: Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level which demonstrates the ability to analyze, evaluate, and improve supply management programs, policies, procedures, or operations. Specialized experience includes controlling supply stocks and accounting for equipment; conducting inventory and property accountability reviews; researching and resolving complex supply discrepancies; reconstructing supply transaction histories; providing technical guidance on supply regulations and automated supply systems; preparing reports, budgets, or cost estimates; and coordinating with organizational representatives to resolve supply and logistics issues. Experience must demonstrate knowledge of supply functions such as inventory management, cataloging, accountability, maintenance, and disposal procedures.
