Job Summary

As a Business Development Specialist in the Office of Center Opportunities and Partnerships at NASA Glenn Research Center, you will support business development and partnership activities that advance Center strategy and NASA mission objectives. You will coordinate opportunities and customer requests, engage internal and external stakeholders, support partnership activities, and analyze information to inform organizational decisions.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-11, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level: Assisting with business, program, partnership, analytical, or administrative activities to support organizational objectives; Supporting partnership or collaborative activities involving internal or external customers or stakeholders; Researching or analyzing information and preparing documents or recommendations to support administrative programs or business activities. OR b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.M., if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level: Contributing to business, program, partnership, analytical, or administrative activities to achieve organizational objectives; Supporting the execution of partnership agreements or developing collaborative partnerships with internal or external stakeholders; Conducting analyses and developing recommendations to improve business, program, or partnership activities and support decision-making. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Supporting or leading business, program, partnership, analytical, or administrative activities to achieve organizational objectives; Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across organizational levels to support program, mission, or organizational goals; Conducting analyses, evaluating information, and developing recommendations to improve business, program, or partnership activities and support decision-making.
