Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Housing Officer, Position Description Number D0605000 and is part of the Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart, Georgia. This is a full-time, Excepted Temporary Indefinite, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership. May convert to permanent without further competition. Area of Consideration: Current on-board Georgia Army National Guard members only.

Military Grades: E6-E8 Compatible Military Assignments: OBR: 42B, 42H, 90A, 92A WOBR: 92, 420A ENL: 42A, 92A, 92Y, 92Z GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of housing management methods, practices and operating techniques. Experience communicating information both verbally and in writing, and the ability to meet and deal with individuals and groups. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training coordinating movement and accountability of equipment. Experience conducting audits and preparing reports. Experience which demonstrated the knowledge of basic principles, techniques, and methodology pertaining to the management planning, scheduling, coordinating and efficient us of Government-owned housing facilities. Experience managing and controlling budgets, materials, manpower needs, contracts, and other viable resources. Experience developing and implementing a variety of directives and instructions concerning the full range of billeting activities for application by residents and lower level housing personnel. Experience using automated systems to update, retrieve and analyze data.
