THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR, Position Description Number D0843000 and is part of the Georgia USPFO, Fort Stewart, Georgia. This is a full-time, Excepted Temporary, not to exceed one year, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership. Area of Consideration: Open to current members of the Georgia Army National Guard.

Military Grades: E3-E7 Compatible Military Assignments: Enlisted: 88, 92; EMOS: 91B, 92F, 21E GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have experience or training which demonstrates the ability to operate one or more motor vehicles including platform trucks, van trucks, fuel trucks, stake trucks, dump trucks, and trash removal trucks which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 11,700 kilograms (26,000 pounds) and up to 14,400 kilograms (less than 32,000 pounds). Experience operating vehicles and tractors, some of which may be equipped with special-purpose powered equipment. Experience operating platform, van, stake and dump trucks, refueling vehicles passenger buses or ambulance buses. Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to operate one or more motor vehicles including platform trucks, van trucks, fuel trucks, stake trucks, dump trucks, and trash removal trucks which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 11,700 kilograms (26,000 pounds) and up to 14,400 kilograms (less than 32,000 pounds). Experience operating vehicles and tractors, some of which may be equipped with special-purpose powered equipment. Experience operating platform, van, stake and dump trucks, refueling vehicles passenger buses or ambulance buses. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Performs work on hard surfaces in work areas that require the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries items that weigh up to 70 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS: Incumbent is required to work inside and outside and is exposed to all to all types of weather and traffic conditions. The incumbent is exposed to the possibility of serious injury from traffic accidents or while handling heavy equipment and supplies.
