THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is for a Traffic Management Specialist, Position Description Number D2422000 in the 165th Logistics Readiness Squadron, located at Garden City, Georgia. This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Air National Guard Membership. Area of Consideration: Open to current members of the Air National Guard.

General Experience: Candidate must possess experience, education, or training which has provided the knowledge of and understanding of administrative, professional, analytical, or other work relating to traffic or transportation programs or operations; must be skilled in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and experience using computer and automation systems. Specialized Experience: Candidate must possess 24 months specialized experience, , education, or training interpreting regulations/requirements and developing local policies to implement changes effectively. Experience applying applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedures. Experience preparing reports and recommendations involving appeals, special permits, adjustments in rates and charges. Experience which involved negotiations with carriers on individual shipments or traffic movement.
