Job Description

This is an open continuous announcement with cutoff dates. Applications will be referred based on receipt of application and established cutoff dates as follows: 1st cutoff date: 07/10/2026 Last cutoff date: 07/24/2026 Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-11, if you possess the specialize experience, education, or a combination of the two. You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-12, if you possess the specialized experience. Specialized Experience for the GS-11 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-09 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience working with Title IV regulations, federal student aid policies, and program procedures in higher education, loan servicing, financial services, or similar regulated environments. 2. Experience developing written responses, reports, summaries, findings, briefing materials, and presentations using tools such as SharePoint, Adobe, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel in a fast paced work environment. 3. Experience supporting or coordinating activities related to Title IV program administration, oversight, compliance, operations, customer service, policy implementation, partner participation, borrower services, grants, contracts, budgets, human resources, emergency preparedness, or other administrative functions, while managing assignments and deadlines in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. OR A combination of both education and experience in which the total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Specialized Experience for the GS-12 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-11 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience interpreting and applying Title IV regulations, federal student aid policies, and program procedures in higher education, loan servicing, financial services, or similar regulated environments. 2. Experience analyzing program operations and data-driven solutions to improve performance and support strategic objectives. 3. Experience managing and coordinating activities related to Title IV program administration, oversight, compliance, operations, customer service, policy implementation, partner participation, borrower services, grants, contracts, budgets, human resources, emergency preparedness, or other administrative functions, while managing assignments and deadlines in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). GS-11 1. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in developing new procedures and approaches to identify and resolve significant issues and problems. 2. Knowledge of office policies, practices, principles, and techniques of administrative functions in order to complete assignments. 3. Skill with communicating effectively both orally and in writing to make recommendations. 4. Knowledge of a variety of administrative functions. GS-12 1. Knowledge of administrative functions or processes to improve office productivity, efficiency, or effectiveness. 2. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to maintain good working relations within and across offices to ensure effective execution of administrative functions. 3. Ability to interpret office policies, practices, principles, and techniques in order to complete assignments and provide high level technical and consultative advice. 4. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in developing of new procedures and approaches to identify and resolve significant issues and problems of a unique nature.
