For additional assistance, please visit: USAJOBS Help Center - Update your resume now so it meets new resume requirements Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as 1) Overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of all personnel actions to include pre-auditing, post-auditing, and evaluating correctness in relation to governing laws, regulations, policies and standard operating procedures, 2) Organizing and guiding HR Assistants and Specialists in the processing of a full range of personnel actions ensuring correctness of data elements to include appointing authorities, allowances, compensation, entitlements, health and life insurance, 3) Evaluating overall work requirements, making workload adjustments, setting priorities, establishing general methodologies, providing technical assistance in the most difficult cases, advising employees on program goals and objectives, making decisions on problems presented by employees or refers to supervisor for assistance, and ensures that production and accuracy requirements are met, and 4) Training staff members, managers, and supervisors on various human resources information technology systems. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. Time-in-grade: Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement.
