AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. FLARNG BUS Code NG5022: This position is "included" in the bargaining unit and eligible for labor organization representation. Military Grades: Warrant Officer/Enlisted: E5 thru CW3 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience collecting and analyzing data; applying procedures and directives by interpreting program material; preparing reports and presentations; delivering formal training presentations or briefings; analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively both orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS08 Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs; experience in the private or public sector involving the analysis, validation, processing and correction of military and civilian financial and travel pay transactions; independently utilizing regulatory guidance and a complete understanding of fiscal related automated systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and validity of disbursements, collections and adjustments related to financial records.
