Job Summary

As an Acquisition Project Manager, you will manage projects for Air Force agency information technology products and services with a specialization in cost reimbursable acquisitions. Location of position: Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services, Acquisition and Procurement Center of Excellence. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $107,501 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing cost reimbursable contracts (e.g., Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)) for Information Technology (IT) and/or Professional Services (PS) projects. Such experience must include: Project management; monitoring contractor performance; financial management; and the application of procurement practices and techniques to perform contract administration, management and closeout.
