Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will manage one or more projects, which may involve highly-complex, and/or sensitive projects within the Office of Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS). This office provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, project, and financial management support. Location of position: Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services, Acquisition and Procurement Center of Excellence We are currently filling five vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437 per year and varies by location. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing various types of contracts (Fixed-price, Time and Material, Labor Hours, etc.) for commercial and/or non-commercial acquisitions, including but not limited to Information Technology (IT) services, Professional Services (PS), and/or managed services/supplies. Such experience must include: project management, monitoring contractor performance, and applying financial management principles and practices to acquisitions.
