Job Summary

As a Bank Examiner, you will serve as an expert advisor for the field examining staff of Regional and Midsize Financial Institutions (RMFI) and as an advisor to the Deputy Comptroller and SDC for RMFI. This position is located in New York, NY.

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of the announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level or GS-14 Grade Level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Leading exams, audits, or reviews of a financial institution's activities to identify retail credit risk and provide advice to management on risk mitigation. AND Planning, organizing, and directing the work of a team, including assigning work, reviewing work products, and aligning staff resources based on workload, technical expertise, and mission needs. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
