Job Summary

As Assistant Deputy Comptroller for the Specialty Assets Portfolio, you will advise the Deputy Comptroller on specialty assets supervision and manage supervisory activities for select financial institutions. You will provide leadership, oversight, and direction for specialty assets supervisory functions within Regional and Midsize Financial Institutions (RMFI).

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of the announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to NB-VI or GS-14 in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include, but are not limited to, experience in one or more of the following: Planning, organizing, implementing, or directing bank supervision activities involving financial institutions, specialty asset functions, fiduciary activities, or other nontraditional banking activities. Leading or directing a team responsible for assessing the condition, performance, or risk profile of financial institutions, business entities, or comparable organizations. Reviewing findings and conclusions for accuracy, consistency, and support, or preparing recommendations for management on supervisory frameworks, processes, or risk identification. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
