As the Director for Bank Advisory, you will serve as operational executive and key advisor to OCC management on significant banking, legal, and supervisory issues pertaining to Bank Advisory matters. Chief Counsel's Office Washington, D.C.

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of the announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VII band level or GS-15 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Experience managing others on advising on the laws and regulations relating to the supervision or audits of OCC regulated institutions in safety and soundness matters, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, policy development, rulemaking, or legislative matters; And Advising agency heads or other management officials on high-risk trends and systemic legal vulnerabilities. And Experience in successfully leading teams in providing guidance, mentorship, and instruction to less experienced attorneys. AND Must be an active member of the bar of a State, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia. Current OCC employees must have a performance rating of at least Level 3 overall and for all critical performance elements to be eligible for promotion. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
