About the Position: Incumbent serves as Housing Manager with full delegated responsibility for the Housing Program, supervising employees engaged in support of several housing management programs, such as Housing Services Office (HSO), Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Furnishing Management and Army Family Housing (AFH). May be expected to perform duties under a joint base operations requiring an understanding and knowledge of Army, Air Force, or Navy policies, programs, and procedures.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: one year equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service which includes managing a housing program, operations and maintenance, cost management and financial planning, annual inspections and surveys, new construction and improvements, management-tenant relations, and housing referral services.
