Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing work in a local training area (LTA) managing and coordinating the scheduling, limitations and use of ranges, weapon systems and training facilities of local training areas. Prepare, maintain and enforce range/training regulations. Write and prioritize Range and LTA construction and improvement projects and assist the Training Support Center manager in final preparation, review and submission of the Range Training Land Management Program (RTLP) Development Plan.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
