About the Position: Serve as Director of Strategy & Posture Division, Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, G5, HQ IMCOM Europe. The G5 Strategy & Posture Division is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of Installation Management Command Europe's (IMCOM-E) support to U.S. European Command (EUCOM), U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), and U.S. Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: analyzing strategy and force posture programs to support theater campaign and operational plans; AND developing and executing business strategies and process improvement initiatives that align resource allocation decisions with strategic goals and mission objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
