Job Summary

About the Position: This position is located in Central Distribution Center Kaiserslautern at the Transportation Section. The purpose of the position is to operate vehicles and materials handling equipment in the performance of duties in a Central Distribution Center. Incumbent performs operating a truck tractor, semitrailer, vans, stake or other vehicles to transport perishable, semi-perishable or non perishable items from one commissary or central distribution center.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Have the ability to perform tasks including operating a truck tractor, semitrailer, vans, stake, or other similar vehicle to transport materials. Load selected items and know methods to prevent damages during transport and expedite unloading. Work under supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who reviews the work for completion.
