Job Description

TERM APPOINTMENT: Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 2 Years. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-11 which includes 1. Utilize data visualization software to create dashboards and automated tools that support manpower planning and track personnel resource allocation and 2. Extract and analyze data from various human resources and manpower tracking systems to assist in evaluating system performance and identifying process improvements and 3. Generate recurring statistical reports and presentation charts detailing military and civilian personnel strength, occupational trends, and unit availability and/or 4. Maintain personnel data repositories and assist in researching manpower policies to provide data-driven support for management issues. B. My experience is not reflected in the above statement. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
