Job Description

In addition to the educational requirements, you must meet the minimum grade-specific qualifications as described below: To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level defined as performing analysis and research on legal matters; and composing pleadings, briefs, and/or other documents involving legal issues in counseling, enforcement, or litigation. To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as performing legal analysis and research to formulate recommendations to clients or supervisors; composing pleadings, briefs, and/or other documents involving legal issues in counseling, enforcement, or litigation; negotiating legal agreements; and facilitating settlement discussions among interested parties.
