Job Summary

The Semester of Service Program offers students a volunteer project-based opportunity to support real Federal missions, gaining hands-on experience and valuable career-ready skills. Students must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited trade school, technical or vocational institute, junior college, college, university, or other accredited educational institution. With this opportunity, you will be supporting a modernization-based project.
Job Description
Applicants will be assessed individually based on the knowledge, skills and abilities related to the project. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to: Quickly learn new processes, systems, and responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Manage multiple priorities, track milestones and complete work within established timeframes. Work collaboratively with team members to gather input, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Review HR metrics, identify trends, and contribute to data-driven recommendations for workforce planning and organizational effectiveness. Prepare summaries, reports or progress updates. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Preferred qualifications not required: Students majoring in human resources, human capital, business administration, organizational leadership or related field.
