You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Directing and executing comprehensive program support for high-consequence national security initiatives, including Special Operations Forces (SOF) and/or other sensitive programs, ensuring mission requirements were met through strategic planning and resource allocation; Designing and governed the complete life-cycle of test and evaluation programs for critical systems and equipment acquisitions, validating operational effectiveness to authorize official Fielding and Deployment Releases (F&DR); Negotiating, authoring, and administer formal inter-agency Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or similar agreements to define operational parameters, secure resources, and codify partner-nation and governmental cooperation. (EXPERIENCE MUST BE CLEARLY DEMONSTRATED IN YOUR RESUME) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
