Job Summary
This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The incumbent will employ subject matter expertise to lead, plan, and organize the section's daily Cyber CI analysis, inquiries and operations to deter, detect, and neutralize Cyber CI threats against DTRA networks and computer systems in support of customer needs.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. You may qualify at the GG-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Conducting Cyber CI analysis, inquiries and operations to deter, detect, and neutralize Cyber CI threats; Conducting research and analysis on Cyber CI foreign intelligence entity (FIE) and terrorist threats to personnel, facilities, missions, and programs; Developing reports, briefs and training to enhance Cyber CI and insider threat awareness; Researching and utilizing a wide variety of computer and network related tools, techniques and procedures to defeat cyberspace activities that threaten agency networks and computers; and Conducting regular liaison with members of the law enforcement and intelligence communities to facilitate the exchange of information and maintain contacts required to support the mission.
