Job Description
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Managing executive front office operations supporting senior leadership (e.g., Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff), executing administrative and human resources tasks, and utilizing enterprise systems such as ETMS2, DTS, DPMAPs, and SharePoint, as well as overseeing military awards and decoration programs. Formulated, edited, and staffed executive-level reports, issue papers, and packages, while creating and delivering strategic briefings and recommendations to Department of Defense (DoD) and/or DTRA senior leadership based on an expert understanding of DoD and DTRA policies, processes, and organizations. Orchestrated liaison and customer support services for senior leaders and management staff across complex, specialized programs related to mission assurance, nuclear surety, nuclear education, nuclear inspection, or nuclear logistics, effectively balancing competing priorities. Directed the full range of Pre-Award and Post-Award contract administration actions for acquisition programs by applying expert knowledge of government contracting policies and procedures. Assessed administrative systems and overall programs by applying a wide range of analytical methods and techniques to conduct comprehensive studies, engineer process improvements, and advise senior leaders on organizational efficiency. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
