Job Summary

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting and coordinating programs policies, processes, and procedures related to Security Cooperation (SC) Programs.

Job Description

You may qualify at the GS-11, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting and coordinating programs policies, processes, and procedures related to Security Cooperation (SC) Programs.; OR You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting in developing policies, processes, and procedures related SC Programs; researching integrated solutions of program activity; reviewing financial statements; and monitoring programs and activities.; OR You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Developing and implementing executing policies, processes, and procedures related SC Programs; providing integrated solutions of programs; administering programs regarding military training and exercises; reviewing financial statements and reporting on program activities; and overseeing programs and activities. B. For GS-11: I possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.; OR C. For GS-11: I possess a combination of education and experience as listed in A & B above that make up 100% of the qualifications required for the position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
