Job Summary

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for Assisting with DSCU website management policies and preparing feasibility studies to develop or modify organizational programs. Additionally, this role involves developing and refining application software while evaluating commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems to ensure they meet functional requirements.

Job Description

You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting in the development of all policies regarding website management and user responsibilities within DSCU; Preparing feasibility studies and analyses to develop or modify individual programs; Analyzing, developing, and refining applications software for the organization; and Performing in-depth analyses of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems to determine which are capable of supporting functional requirements and should continue to be used within the organization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
