Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all aspects of DMEA security operations, including personnel security, information security, physical security, antiterrorism/force protection, industrial security, and operations security.

Job Description

You may qualify at the NH-03 if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH - 02 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service: Personnel Security (PERSEC): Adjudicating personnel suitability, managing clearance investigations, and utilizing systems such as the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Physical Security: Managing access control systems, CCTV, and performing security assessments for specialized facilities like clean rooms and labs. Information Security (INFOSEC): Ensuring the proper handling, storage, and destruction of classified materials and investigating security incidents. Industrial Security: Overseeing classified contracts and conducting security surveys of contractor facilities. Operations Security (OPSEC): Integrating countermeasures to protect critical information and operational activities from hostile exploitation. Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP): Developing and implementing plans and procedures relevant to a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Interpreting and adapting broad, and often ambiguous, security regulations from directives (e.g., DoD, NISPOM, OSD). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
