Job Description

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized Experience: To qualify your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For the GS-09 position, Specialized experience is defined as: Experience applying fundamental principles, theories, or concepts of budget administration or financial management; or experience assisting with financial or budget administration services, such as planning, programming, budget formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution. For the GS-11 position, Specialized experience is defined as: Experience supporting financial or budget administration services, such as planning, programming, budget formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution; or experience monitoring, researching, or analyzing financial or budgetary data to ensure accuracy or identify trends or discrepancies. For the GS-12 position, Specialized experience is defined as: Experience independently identifying, analyzing, or resolving budgetary issues related to planning, programming, formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution; or experience utilizing financial systems or tools to research, analyze, or validate budgetary data.
