Job Description

ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Interprets data, information, and issues to formulate logical conclusions and recommendations. 2. Builds broad professional working relationships HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Education and/or experience in processing natural language datasets using rule-based or probabilistic (statistical and/or neural network-based) machine learning approaches, with demonstrated ability to innovate by employing emerging data science tools, concepts, and methodologies to solve novel intelligence challenges. 2. Technical knowledge/expertise in data discoverability, collection, architecture, manipulation, management, integration, and analysis methodologies, including the development of user- friendly tools and solutions that are accessible and relevant for cross-functional teams, such as all-source intelligence analysts with varying levels of data science familiarity. 3. Proven experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to translate complex data science insights into actionable products, fostering effective communication and integration of diverse stakeholder needs in a mission-driven environment. Basic Requirements: A. Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or B. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
