Job Summary

This position serves as the Senior Secure Facility Operations Specialist and technical authority for the design, construction, and accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, Special Access Program Facilities, and highly classified workspaces. The incumbent manages complex projects, specializing in technical integrations for shielding and countermeasures. They ensure all facilities comply with Intelligence Community Directives and Department of War standards.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal Service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) which has given me the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties related to the position being filled. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) apply practical construction techniques to monitor, inspect, and coordinate building projects; (2) estimate project scope and equipment requirements; AND (3) interpret complex engineering and architectural plans to support building management operation. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
