Candidates must meet all of the specialized experience requirements outlined below in order to be deemed as qualified. Specialized Experience GS-14 IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED AS QUALIFIED, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ONE YEAR OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO THE GS-13 GRADE LEVEL IN THE FEDERAL SERVICE. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience with project planning and execution, business case development, acquisition management, change management, and process improvement using data-driven, team-focused methodology (ex. Lean Six Sigma). 2. Experience planning and managing construction projects and relocation and/or consolidation of space. 3. Experience using various productivity or graphics systems ( Clarizen, AtTask, AutoCad, Cadapult, and/or the CAD) for planning, specification, acquisition, or contractor management. 4. Experience providing advice, guidance, and assistance to staff on facilities management issues. GS-15 IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED AS QUALIFIED, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ONE YEAR OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO THE GS-14 GRADE LEVEL IN THE FEDERAL SERVICE. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience with project planning and execution, business case development, acquisition management, change management, and process improvement using data-driven, team-focused methodology (ex. Experience Formulating, developing and implementing programs, projects and/or policies related to space and facilities management. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
